About me
Originally from the Midwest, I’ve called San Francisco home for nearly two decades. My first career was in the arts where I supported and amplified the creative process of visual artists, including artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Creative Growth. I bring this passion for honoring self-expression to my work as a therapist.
I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. During my graduate training, I worked in a medical hospital providing mental health counseling for patients and their families. I’ve since been honored to work with a diversity of individuals and couples in the San Francisco Bay Area and across California. I feel continually awed and humbled by the resilience and creativity I witness daily as a therapist. I love this work because of the deep connections I get to make with my clients. It makes my life richer and more meaningful.
Running trails, swimming, and backpacking in the mountains make my soul feel good. When I’m not playing outside, I’m likely enjoying creative time with a quilt or relishing a good meal with a loved one.
